LEO Club

The first Leo Club was formed in 1957, in Abington High School in Pennsylvania by the Glenside Lions Club. The membership consisted of the entire high school baseball team. Now there are approximately 4,861 clubs in 133 different nations with as estimated membership of 121,525.

Leo Clubs are intended to develop:

Leadership
School Loyalty
Scholastic Achievement
Individual Responsibility
Equality
Honesty
Respect for Others

Leo activities include regular meetings, service projects, and social functions. The Mottos of the Leos is Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. The age of Leos range from 12 – 28. The membership classifications are “Alpha” – Regular Member (Age 12 – 17) and “Omega” – Senior Members (Age 18 – 28).
